Classification: A3 — Severely increased
UACR 700 mg/g is heavy albuminuria — far above the A3 threshold (300 mg/g) and approaching nephrotic range. High risk of progression and cardiovascular events.
UACR measures albumin leaking into urine, corrected for urine concentration. It is the earliest marker of kidney damage — and the strongest predictor of CKD progression after eGFR.
Single urine sample (first morning void preferred). No 24-hour collection needed.
