Celery juice has no proven kidney benefit. It's very low in potassium (which is fine), but juice concentrates what little nutrition celery has while losing the fiber — and the 'heals kidneys in a week' claims are marketing, not medicine.
Celery is a low-potassium vegetable — but there's no evidence its juice alters kidney function, blood pressure meaningfully, or stone risk. The celebrity-endorsed 'celery juice cleanse' has no clinical support.
The honest note: celery is a healthy low-potassium snack for CKD diets. Juicing doesn't add benefit and removes fiber; whole celery is the better choice.
Caveat: celery is also relatively high in sodium for a vegetable (~80 mg/100g), which matters on strict low-sodium renal diets — another reason whole, fresh, and moderate is the rule.
